The RVP Saga

Good morning, afternoon gooners, its heart breaking afternoon for me and  gooners all over the world as Robin Van Persie announces that he will not sign a contract extension for arsenal and might leave the club any time soon, he did it through his official website "http://robinvanpersie.com/2012/07/04/update-for-the-fans/". And that’s not the way you do it captain, but I Should say it is better than how nasri or fabregas left us,he has given time for wenger to search for a replacement. But in other point of view, once Nasri decided he wants to go out he din’t let it out,may be he would have told Arsene and so it was easy for him to get the best money possible, which I afraid won’t be the case for RVP. But this sounds like, a girl friend texting his BF "Its over, good bye".
And as soon as i saw this news i had a strange feeling in my stomach like it had some butterflies screaming and flying around, like they were being killed by a giant animal. Now we have to handle loads of people questioning us,it gives our bragging rights away and people have started laughing at us,trolling us and I sit here thinking “what have you done to us,robin”. I remember crying like hell when Henry left, and i did have some tears when Fabregas first wore barca jersey, but i don't want to cry when RVP leaves our club or when he wears another club's jersey, I won’t, I definitely won’t
L Fuuuuu!! . And i don't think Arsenal board thought RVP would release such a statement, they seem like they were not ready for it. Which makes us think there is something wrong about this entire thing and club has responded by releasing a club statement

"We have to respect Robin's decision not to renew his contract. Robin has one year to run on his current   contract  and we are confident that he will fulfil his commitments to the Club.We are planning with ambition and confidence for next season with Arsenal's best interests in mind"

So as this news flashes up and goes viral's through internet there are lot of question to be answered and lot of scenarios to be considered.
The first question would be
1.RVP has announced he won't sign a new contract and his old contract gets over by next year,so will arsenal board sell him or allow him to leave for free in the next summer ?
By seeing the way arsenal board has replied to RVP's statement, it seems they won’t sell him this summer and will play him through his contract. Which Arsene Wenger doesn't do normally, he will want to get some money out his captain. Would i want to see RVP in Red and white without signing a new contract ? NO, i don't feel good about this. I Don't want a player to be in our squad who will not be sure to be part of our future and someone who is not committed enough for towards the club and he has also said that "unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward." For heaven sake Robin you are our captain not our Manager, you don't decide how our club needs to move forward, our manager takes care of it and does it best.

2.Where does this leave RVP ? Where does he go from here ?
So from robin's point of view,he is in good form,he is just back from a season where he has scored 30 odd goals for his club and has won Barclays Golden Boot award and is one of the hot shots in world football at the moment. He was the same when he went in to the euros with netherlands, what happened ? He failed, yes he did play out of position, but he had the likes of robben,Sneijder behind him to feed him. But the headlines read "Team of superstars failed to deliver" RVP being one among them(Go to city and this title will be Ctl+C,Ctrl+V’ed). One of the reason he didn’t shine at Euros is, he couldn't carry walcott and song along with him at the Euros, they have lot of goals between them and have some good wavelength running b/w them. So if he moves to another club he can't carry them there either (Dare you man, i double dare you :| ). Here at arsenal, we all know how much he meant to the fans, he was worshiped here, which you cannot expect from the fans of the club you go to,there won't be single pure heart screaming your name like every single gunner has done it for the past 4-5 years robin, there won't be anyone else loving you and your family like any arsenal fan loved you, and there won't be a manager who will trust you like wenger did through your injuries and bad times(forgot your ‘previous coach robin Bert Van Marwijk
? who wanted to get rid of you and threw you to the reserves ‘coz of your attitude) and there won't be a team built around you,and there won't be a club to betray. You have almost spent half your time at arsenal at the treatment table and wenger still kept his faith in you, and you started to pay him back with one good season and what do you do next ? Good-bye ? No robin, that's not what you do. And i bet my life that RVP won't have a season like 2011-12, never. And he will be 29 soon and he has some 2-3 years in his career. With all his injuries,2011-12 is his first full season at arsenal, so Robin you do realize you are one tackle away from being messed up and ending up at treatment bench where you have spent half of your time at arsenal. And if you are going to a new club,it might take sometime to settle, you are 29 robin, are you aware of it ? A manager is not going to give you much time to settle, looking at the rumors he might end up at a place like City,we all know what happens at city if a player is not in form,(Thrown out,disrespected-Tevez) Are you ready for it robin ?
But what if he asked to play out his contract ? He might be booed by his own fans who loved him just like his brothers and sisters, and he might be around players who might be angry on him,his form may drop and the big clubs may not be interested in him and could see his career being messed up or he could be a big hit elsewhere, we never know. Oh,robin.. I will still be your fan, and we will still love you and we wish you good luck for your future. But personally I will be happy if RVP was sold abroad even if means less money, I don’t want to see him playing in PL with another team it will be like seeing your ex with you enemy
L

3.Where does this leave ARSENAL F.C ?
First and foremost thing i would want to say is,this question is completely wrong,Its just one of the arsenal players leaving, the one who was bought at 21 and nurtured into a quality footballer. Not the entire arsenal team. But yes, this player has been important for us last season,he almost single handedly earned us the CL spot.and We are in the brink of loosing yet another captain :( Has that Captain arm band got any curse in it ? We lost Patrick,Henry,Gallas,Cesc and now RVP seem like he is also following them. We are loosing a player who we have invested on, he has occupied the treatment table more than anybody(more than even diaby), all he gave us is ONE GOOD season, just one. Wenger for sure must feel betrayed, stabbed at his back. If we as arsenal fans feel betrayed, imagine how the old man would feel, Poor fella has had some real bad time. Players who believed, who he built his team around has betrayed him, People have been harsh on him . But wenger i can assure you of one thing which matters the most, WE ARE BEHIND YOU AND WE TRUST YOU . ARSENAL F.C is bigger than any player, we raised up when henry left,we raised up when fabregas and Cunt went just when we needed them, WE WILL RAISE UP even if RVP leaves us. But its not all done gooners, Wenger is said to be trying to convince RVP to stay, until there is a press release from Arsene,we all have to wait to know what will happen.

My Message to my fellow arsenal fans
Bros dont loose hope, arsene has seen it all,he knows what he is doign, after all who knew Nasri,Fabregas and RVP before arsene signed them and carved them to perfection. We signed RVP for around 2.75m, and believe it or not RVP has played  20+ Games just twice in his 8yrs as a arsenal player,so all we need is a new signing to replace him,yes it will be difficult to replace him,but we gotta move on,plus this ain't over once for all.Things might change,I don't know if i should hope for RVP to do a Rooney, but i would be awkward. i would love to end this by saying IN ARSENE WE TRUST and ARSENAL F.C > Any player.
